Luna The almost Full Moon and a blazing red sky Luna

When I saw this view looking out the front door of my house, I thought, "I've got to get a photograph of that!" So I rushed in and grabbed the Nikon D70, and quickly put a 70-210mm Sigma lens on. This was the result. It was fleeting. To say it lasted for seconds is an understatement. Within moments the Moon had been covered with blanket cloud and the fiery red edges had gone from the clouds. If there's one thing I've learned about red skies, it's that they only last for a few short minutes, so you've got to work quick. I didn't have enough time to load some Velvia into the Nikon F90, which would have accentuated the colour even more. I don't even know if people will like this photo, but I enjoy colour when nature presents it, so I try to make best use of it.
