About Harry Hall

Harry Hall is an experienced tour guide and driver who lives in the Boyne Valley area.
Now in his fourth year delivering tours, Harry has got to know the staff and operations in most of the tour venues in the area.

He was born in Drogheda and grew up in Mell on the north bank of the river Boyne, within sight of Millmount and only a few miles from Newgrange.
“With so much history around me, I have developed a passion for my unique native landscape, including Brú na Bóinne, Millmount, Slane Hill and Tara, as well as the stories of St. Oliver Plunkett, the Battle of the Boyne, Cloc Patrick, and Mellifont, which has close links with Mell,” Harry says.
He is a member of the Old Drogheda Society, and a Friend of the Francis Ledwidge Museum, and also holds a Heritage Card. Harry did his tour guide course at Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2005 under the auspices of Louth Hospitality.
“I carry small artefacts which I call my museum. I am flexible if a customer wishes to see something different or to make changes to the plan. I make every effort to make my tours a fun event with extras like quizzes, jokes and novelties.”
All hackney users are entitled to a receipt, so if a corporate group books they will have the means to make their expense claims.
“A key to success of my tours is the fact that we do not have to travel far before we encounter the next item of interest. My car is a 7 seater, so it can take 6 passengers plus me. I enjoy driving and am very aware of safety and comfort for customers.”
Safety: Seat belt checks; exit from car on left; first aid kit; fire extinguisher; torch; visibility vest; triange.
Comfort: Temperature; space; music or radio; rest rooms.

Harry Hall testimonials

You are a wonderful driver and guide, with your knowledge and planning making for a perfect five days. I can not thank you enough for making my five days in Meath so special. Martha Johnson.Virginia

I have to say I have NEVER had a better experience than with a driver that I hired. He was punctual, prepared, professional and accommodating. He doubled as a tour guide when my plans changed and put together a fabulous package.

When I picked Kerryann up in NewYork she could not sing your praises enough. "Free bottled water in a taxi”, she kept saying, “you would not get that here in New York”. Along with the fact that she said that you were just like her father which is her highest complement she pays.
