Mythical Ireland Podcast 8: interview with author Judith Nilan

In the latest Mythical Ireland podcast, Anthony Murphy interviews American writer Judith Nilan about her two books and her interest in Irish sacred sites, our old myths, the Tuatha Dé Danann and what it means to be an elder.

I recently spent a delightful hour sitting on the top of the Dowth megalithic monument at Brú na Bóinne chatting with Judith Nilan, a writer and tour guide from Washington State in the US, whose work has drawn heavily on Irish mythology, the Brehon Laws and the landscape of Ireland.

We chatted about Judith's two books, A Legacy of Wisdom and A Call to Crone. The conversation flowed on what was a lovely April evening at Dowth. The birds were in full song and the weather was beautiful.
