The High Man is a giant human-like figure hidden in the landscape of the Boyne Valley region in eastern Ireland. He is, like the gods and heroes of myth, a gigantic, sword-wielding champion who looms large over the ancient mythic and monumental landscape of the area. Measuring 12 miles (19km) from top to bottom, it was discovered among the roads of Louth and Meath by Drogheda artist Richard Moore in 1999.
This large poster, which is beautifully printed on heavy white paper and laminated, with silver foil representing the River Boyne / Milky Way, was commissioned to celebrate this giant mythic figure of the Irish landscape.
