On Saturday 13th September, Anthony Murphy of Mythical Ireland and Simon Tuite of Monumental Ireland will lead you to the megalithic heart of Ireland: Sligo, a landscape carved with mystery, myth and the echoes of our ancestors. From ancient monuments to breathtaking landscapes, this is a trip through time you won’t want to miss.


We’ll leave Mullingar, board our Megalithic Bus and journey West at 09:00 SHARP, to walk among the ancient tombs and sacred spaces where stories still linger in the air. We will visit Creevykeel court tomb, the Carrowmore passage-tombs and the breathtaking Carrowkeel passage-tombs on the Bricklieve Mountains. We will stop for lunch - location TBC - then continue on the tour. Leaving Sligo at 18:00 and returning to Mullingar for 19:30. We have just 47 spots available for this tour, so be sure to book early !

Note that at Carrowkeel, we will have a 20- to 30- minute walk from where the bus stops to reach the cairns. It's a bit of a hike, so make sure you are fit and able for hillwalking, and bring appropriate hiking footwear and clothing.
