Knowth: pathway to the stars

Pathway to the stars ... the giant mound of Knowth under a crisp winter starry sky. The Milky Way - Bealach na Bó Finne, the Way of the White Cow - can also be seen. I was thrilled to be able to capture images of Knowth at night during a special star-gazing event organised by the OPW in conjunction with the Irish Astronomical Society last November.
